Youth Connections Cafe — Building Leadership, Wellness & Resilience

At Global Health Alliance (GHA), we believe that investing in youth is investing in the future of global health. The Youth Connections Café is a safe, welcoming space where young people (ages 16–24) can explore mental well-being, nutrition, leadership, and inclusion while building the confidence and skills needed for lifelong success.

Our weekly sessions bring youth together to learn, create, and connect in supportive environments that value diversity and amplify their voices. Special attention is given to supporting newcomers, underrepresented, and marginalized youth, ensuring that every participant feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Our focus areas include

  • Mental & physical health — discussions, workshops, and tools to strengthen resilience and well-being
  • Nutrition for energy & longevity — practical knowledge on healthy habits and culturally diverse food traditions
  • Leadership & life skills — workshops in confidence-building, problem-solving, and community engagement
  • Creativity & innovation — opportunities in the arts, entrepreneurship, and social impact projects
  • Diversity & inclusion in action — understanding how equity and compassion can shape daily life and leadership

These gatherings help young people develop life and career skills, strengthen their mental health, and build meaningful community connections, while celebrating the richness of global cultures.
